Aleron's Door Installation team, renowned for their expertise in fire door maintenance and installation, executed a series of meticulous repairs and adjustments across multiple fire door ratings, including FD30 and FD60. These efforts included a combination of gap leaf to frame adjustments, door leaf lipping additions and replacements, as well as the installation of new ironmongery to enhance the doors' functionality and fire resistance.
For the FD60-rated doors, the team adjusted gaps between the leaf and frame, added or replaced door lippings, and installed intumescent seals to significantly improve fire resistance. Similarly, the FD30-rated doors underwent gap adjustments, lipping replacements, and received new hinges and smoke seals to prevent smoke spread and ensure safer evacuation routes.
In addition to these specific ratings, nominal fire-rated doors were also adjusted for gap alignment, closer adjustments, and received new hinges and smoke seals to further enhance fire safety and compliance.
The work undertaken by Aleron involved precise adjustments and installations, focusing on critical aspects such as hinges for door stability, closers to ensure automatic door closure, and the installation of smoke and intumescent seals to significantly improve fire resistance and smoke containment.
