Maltman's Green School

Educational Facilities
As part of an important fire safety initiative, Aleron completed a comprehensive package of passive fire protection works at Maltman’s Green School, located in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. The project focused on improving compartmentation across critical areas of the site to help ensure the ongoing safety of students, staff, and visitors.

Working within an operational school environment, Aleron’s team carried out detailed fire stopping installations to seal penetrations around services, structural steelwork, and ductwork. The works included:

  • Installing fire-rated batt and intumescent mastic systems around pipework and cable penetrations.
  • Sealing gaps around steel beams and perimeter walls to reinstate compartmentation.
  • Protecting service risers and ductwork with fire-rated barriers and coatings.
  • Labelling all installations with Aleron’s compliance tags for full traceability and future inspections.

Every installation was carefully executed to meet the latest fire safety standards, ensuring critical fire separation was maintained between compartments.

The successful completion of these works has strengthened the school’s passive fire protection strategy, supporting Maltman’s Green School’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe, resilient learning environment.
