Passive fire protection across the UK

Installation of fireboard encasement systems for load-bearing steel, concrete and timber structures, with certified fire resistance form 30 to 240 minutes

fireboard encasement
Fireboard encasement is a non-combustible passive fire protection system that provides high levels of structural fire resistance and contributes to improved acoustic performance
The system is quick to install without the need for specialist preparation of the supporting structure, offering a cost-effective solution with minimal disruption. Installation can be carried out outside working hours without affecting ongoing building operations
We install fireboard encasement systems in accordance with the ASFP “Yellow Book” guidance, ensuring compliance with BS 476 Part 24 for firestopping and BS 9999 for fire compartmentation works.
Structural steel encasement
We are a third-party approved firestopping contractor and fire protection installer specialising in fireboard encasement of steel, concrete, and timber structures. We install fire protection board systems from leading manufacturers, including Promat, British Gypsum, Rockwool, and Knauf.
Fireboard encasement provides fire protection to maintain the structural integrity of concrete, steel, and timber frameworks in the event of a fire. It is an effective passive fire protection solution for a wide range of building types, with fire resistance from 30 to 240 minutes.
